In a report, <em>The Geography of Crypto Twitter: An In-Depth Look at Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, and Bitcoin Cash<\/em>, of the 113,685 tweets few from Latin America were positive about Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Only Peru with 93.1 percent of their tweet over the seven days of testing painted Bitcoin in a good light. Interestingly, despite reports of Bitcoin\u2019s role as a <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/2019\/06\/17\/merit-of-crypto-as-safe-haven-showing-bitcoin-volume-in-hong-kong-spikes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer \">safe haven<\/a> in Venezuela, citizens were openly critical of Bitcoin.
