On the line: his family jewels, so to say, which McAfee claimed he would eat on national television of the price target was not hit.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. Late last year, he took an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/benjaminpirus\/2019\/09\/30\/mcafee-explains-rationale-for-why-he-still-sees-1-million-bitcoin-by-2020\/#12a0a7626f92\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"exclude\" rel=\"follow noopener nofollow\">interview with Forbes<\/a>, in which he stated that he believes BTC will surpass $1 million apiece simply due to the scarcity of the asset:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"svecc-content-banner-added\"><p>\u201cLet\u2019s get real, there are only 21 million bitcoins.
