This is the third time this has happened in the past two weeks.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bitcoin Trends on Weibo, &#8220;China&#8217;s &#8216;Twitter'&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>According to a screenshot of Weibo&#8217;s trending list from May 10th shared by Mow, a search term mentioning <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/2020\/05\/10\/bitcoin-dives-15-to-8500-liquidating-200-million-in-bitmex-longs\/\">Bitcoin&#8217;s price drop<\/a> was recently the 13th most popular term on the platform. This is notable as Weibo is a platform used by literally 400 million monthly active users, showing how excited the Chinese are about BTC.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">#Bitcoin<\/a> is trending again on Chinese Twitter, higher than it has in the past, but about the price drop today.
