However, we noticed a crucial detail: the article doesn\u2019t contain a direct quote from Erdogan. They were discussing the Digital Turkish Lira, the country\u2019s proposed CBDC, and one of the participants asked about their current views on cryptocurrencies:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cErdo\u011fan said that they do not have a problem of opening up to crypto money, on the contrary, they have a separate war and struggle against them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Erdogan said, &#8220;We will not give them such a premium, nor will we. Because we will continue on our way with our money, which is our fundamental identity in this matter.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He never even mentions a war against Bitcoin.
