The upside move appeared as traders assessed the entry of global corporations into the cryptocurrency space (<em>read <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/news\/bitcoin\/paypals-just-introduced-a-bitcoin-onramp-to-346-million-people\/\">PayPal<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/analysis\/btc\/squares-bitcoin-investment-made-2-million-over-the-last-24-hours\/\">Square<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/news\/bitcoin\/bitcoin-moves-towards-14k-as-dbs-opens-crypto-exchange\/\">DBS<\/a>, etc.<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The pair also rallied on expectations of the passing of the second coronavirus stimulus package, a bill that stands stuck for months as the US policymakers debate over its size.<\/p>\n<h2>The Bitcoin Weekly Setup<\/h2>\n<p>Bitcoin established a fresh year-to-date high at $13,863 \u2013 just a few dollars below its 2019 peak \u2013 on October 28. Later, the cryptocurrency started correcting lower on a renewed selling sentiment near the yearly high. At its lowest post-correction, BTC\/USD was trading for $12,891.<\/p>\n<p>Now, many analysts <a href=\"https:\/\/wncen.com\/analysis\/btc\/bitcoin-is-in-for-some-nasty-chop-as-bulls-lose-their-edge-claims-trader\/\">expect the pair to continue its downtrend<\/a>, including the pseudonymous entity as mentioned above. But, at the same time, a majority of traders believe that Bitcoin would continue trading upwards in a long run.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;[Bitcoin] rejected at 2019 high for now,&#8221; the pseudonymous analyst <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PostyXBT\/status\/29697792\" rel=\"nofollow\">said<\/a>. &#8220;<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">It&#8217;s not certain that <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">BTC\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">gives this retest, but I&#8217;m hoping we see this pullback over the coming weeks. A trending Bitcoin could easily continue to rip with no retest.
